We are excited to announce an upcoming enhancement to our card processing which will result in new Debit cards issued to all customers. The new cards will have a sleek design offering the same safety and security you are accustomed to with your current card. Your new Mastercard® will now have the contactless option which allows you to tap and pay for a secure and convenient checkout.

Why did the bank decide to change cards? 

With our new card vendor we are able to provide new EMV contactless cards that have “tap-to-pay” functionality. The new cards also have an updated design, while still providing automatic, round the clock monitoring for suspicious transactions.

When will my old card stop working?

Sunday, March 31st.

When should I start using my new card?

Monday, April 1st. 


What should I do with my old card?

Cut it up and throw it away.

When will my new card be mailed to me?

Your new card will be mailed around March 15th. You will need to call the phone number provided to set your PIN using an interactive voice response (IVR) system.

Can I activate my card before April 1st?

Yes, by calling the number listed on the card. You will not be able to use the new card until April 1st.

Will my PIN be the same?

No, you will need to set a new PIN by calling the phone number provided with your card to set your PIN using an interactive voice response (IVR) system.


Are my limits the same?

The daily limits are $210 for ATM withdrawals and $1,010 for point-of-sale purchases. To request a temporary increase, contact your local branch.

Will I still be able to use Privileged Status ATM locations?

No, but with the new card vendor, you will have access to approximately 40,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide through the MoneyPass® network. MoneyPass® locations can be found at www.moneypass.com.
 

Will I still have access to the Brella® mobile app?

No, the Brella® mobile app is not supported by the new card vendor. We are working to provide a new mobile app with card controls that will be available in the future.

Can I add my new card to my digital wallet (ie. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay)?

Yes, your new card will be compatible with digital wallet on your mobile phone beginning May 1st. You will need to add your new card and remove your old card from your digital wallet.

What if I have a recurring payment set up on my old card?

You need to contact your merchant and give them your new card number and expiration date for any payments after March 31st.

What if I don’t receive my new card?

Your new card will be mailed around March 15th. Please contact your local branch listed below if you do not receive your new card.
